The Lambda Sigma Omega Mission Statement      The local executive officers and the members of Lambda Sigma Omega, in association with Florida Metropolitan University at Fort Lauderdale hereby establish the following Mission Statement for the Lambda Sigma Omega chapter of the American Criminal Justice Association, Lambda Alpha Epsilon: 1)  To promote higher standards of educational attainments within the criminal justice program at Florida Metropolitan University. 2)  To promote research projects in the field of criminal justice. 3)  To promote a better understanding by the public and Florida Metropolitan University’s administration of the aims of criminal justice. 4)  To promote unity and fellowship among Florida Metropolitan University’s criminal justice students and South Florida’s criminal justice professionals. 5)  To Improve the employability of Florida Metropolitan University‘s criminal justice students and South Florida’s criminal justice professionals. 6)  To act as zealous advocates on the behalf of the criminal justice students at Florida Metropolitan University and South Florida’s criminal justice professionals. 7)  To commit ourselves to the community in which we live, work and attend school, through community services projects, community involvement and community outreach. 8)  To commit ourselves to each other and to our above established mission.
