Welcome to the Lambda Sigma Omega Membership Information Page!      Have a great time, meet new people, increase your contacts in law enforcement and help to improve the criminal justice program at Florida Metropolitan University by joining Lambda Sigma Omega.      Lambda Sigma Omega is Florida Metropolitan University at Fort Lauderdale’s local chapter of the American Criminal Justice Association. Member benefits include: Membership Certificate, Membership Card, Membership Pin, ACJA-LAE Stickers, National Journals and Newsletters, Local Newsletter, Job Information, Scholarship Fund, Group Activities, Group Discounts, Members Only Apparel and Letters of Recommendation that will improve you employability. The ACJA-LAE has over 56,000 members nation wide, in every level of law enforcement.      Any and all students who are majors in Criminal Justice, or any criminal justice related field may apply for membership in Lambda Sigma Omega. One, you may be sponsored for membership. Since Lambda Sigma Omega is a non-profit organization, you may find a sponsor to pay for your membership. A sponsor can be anyone; all they have to do is pay the membership dues on your behalf. In return, they will receive a receipt which they can use to deduct from their taxes the amount which they have paid on your behalf. The second way is to enter one of the contests which Lambda Sigma Omega holds throughout the year. Contest winners receive free membership in Lambda Sigma Omega.
